About this Resource
Doorways provides emergency shelter, community-based services, and supportive housing and services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We serve survivors of all genders, including women, men, and nonbinary folks, as well as their children and pets. Services include individual mental health counseling and support groups. Free and confidential crisis support, safety planning, information, and referrals to our programs are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through our Domestic and Sexual Violence Hotline at 703-237-0881.
