We are a local community blessing group, aimed at helping families in need, when other organizations haven't been able to. We help with clothing, food, mentoring, assistance with emergency lodging and crisis intervention assistance. All of the volunteers are local, and compassionate, with a level of empathy, based upon the fact that they've had to navigate through the same thing. The group has a Christmas sponsorship program, and have helped many families in the past years. The group was founded in 2014, by a locally grown woman, Valerie McCandless. Her own family had to navigate through homelessness in the past and many other obstacles, that helped to give her the resources and support in order to help others. We're in this together!
