Protection from the elements

What is the first thing you think of when you think of the word, “homeless”? Probably of a human being who is uncomfortably cold, hot, or wet. Someone whose clothes and shoes are not enough to protect them from outdoor conditions 24/7. Well, that is the primary need that we are here to meet. It is a widely accepted fact that humans are unable to grow, develop, and meet secondary needs until primary needs are satisfied. This is the principle Jesus was illustrating when He told the parable of the Good Samaritan and finished, saying, “Which now of these three, think you, was neighbor unto him that fell among the theives? And he said, he that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do you likewise.”
