Promises Rehabilitation is a long term therapeutic community located in Florence South Carolina specializing in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. At Promises we believe that each addicted person recovers at their own rate and as such we have no set length of stay. The average person will be with us between 6 months and 1 year. We also believe that any method of recovery that seeks to shelter the addict from temptation is doomed to failure, because we know that mere physical abstinence does not equal true recovery or the change of personality needed to gain freedom from active addiction. As such, each of our residents will work a normal job and be expected to pay for their own stay after the initial intake.
