About this Resource

Project Hope for the Homeless is the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County, Ohio.

We have 4 programs: an overnight shelter for adults, separate wing for families and children, optional aftercare program, and offsite senior care program at our Hope House.

The shelter serves up to 50 adults and children nightly, offers a safe place to stay, provides basic needs and professional guidance to help improve their quality of life and get to the root of their homelessness. More than 80% of guests leave the shelter for a better living situation.

Guests can also participate in an aftercare program that offers regular home visits and phone calls, monthly support groups and in-kind help, as needed.

Call 440-639-4420 if in need of shelter.
