About this Resource
This special shelter is designed for hospital patients discharged to home when they do not have a home. HOPE Shelters: Recuperative Shelter is always open, but accepts referrals from hospitals Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm. Please have discharge planners contact HOPE (248-499-6437) as soon as a patient is identified as being homeless. Patients with medical or behavioral health goals can shelter in place while working to resolve homelessness. More than 90% of guests exit to a place they can call home -- and keep as their home.
