Health Mission International is a Biblically-Based Non-Profit Organization founded by David and Martha Kamara with the primary purpose of providing basic Health and Rehabilitation services to the very poor and underprivileged people of Sierra Leone in West Africa. The unfortunate reality in this very poor nation is that people are dying of even very basic preventable illnesses only because medical services are not readily available or, for most people, not affordable. Critical services for post-trauma disabilities resulting from accidents, stroke, and many other orthopedic challenges are almost non-existent and, in most cases, people are left to die of their deplorable conditions because it’s common belief that nothing can be done.
