Bethesda Center for the Homeless
About this Resource
Every day at 6:30 AM, Bethesda’s day shelter opens, welcoming the homeless from throughout the community. The day shelter services are for members of the homeless community living on the streets, woods, abandoned structures, who are in dire need of our basic services. We recognize the importance of offering a safe place where people are protected from inclement weather snow, hail, rain, heat, etcetera. In addition to services provided in the day shelter, Bethesda’s night shelter services include spiritual growth opportunities (3D: Discussion, Devotion and Dinner) and temporary housing. The night shelter for homeless individuals serves as an entry point back into the community. Qualified guests benefit from supportive services we provide.
