About this Resource
In partnership with the City of Austin, The Salvation Army has operated ASWC since 2001. ASWC is an 81 bed emergency shelter serving single women and women with dependent children experiencing homelessness. Case management, rapid rehousing services, employment assistance, computer lab, child care, and individual/family therapy are provided on-site.
The shelter uses a call back list for the admission process. Call the main line for more information.
