The Old Dominion EMS Alliance (ODEMSA) is a regional nonprofit organization dedicated to coordinating and supporting emergency medical services (EMS) in Central Virginia. As one of 11 regional EMS councils in the Commonwealth, ODEMSA provides training, resources, and guidance to EMS agencies, healthcare providers, and first responders. Our mission is to enhance the quality of prehospital care through collaboration, education, and innovation. From managing the regional drug box program to offering certification courses and serving as a liaison between state and local EMS systems, ODEMSA is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.
