Good Counsel was founded in 1985 to help homeless pregnant women in need. Our goal is to help expectant mothers to have their babies in a safe, loving home while providing the support they need to get back on their feet. We've helped thousands of women for over 35 years, and we look forward to assisting any pregnant mother who needs assistance.

For those who chose to enter one of our maternity homes in New York or New Jersey, we provide help through prenatal care, maternity and health care before and after birth, help with budgeting and finding a job, childcare for mothers who work or go to school, classes on parenting, nutrition, and social skills, help with substance abuse issues and addiction recovery, counseling, and case management.
