About this Resource
Our Emergency Shelter shall provide short-term housing up to 30 days, food, and other services to the homeless, low income, individuals and families. Our Transitional House provides educational and rehabilitation services in a stable and healthy environment for men and women to gain life skills, education and mental health counseling needed to transition to living in the community. Our Food Pantry will provide food to the hungry, which do not have resources of their own. Our Soup Kitchen is open 365/year serving 3 meals/day. We also have an assistance program providing rent or utility payments one time per year to prevent persons from becoming homeless. Our programs serve Jackson County Illinois and surrounding area-no relocation services.
