Clinica Sierra Vista’s Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) office provides nutrition guidance and referrals for community services to pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under 5 years of age. WIC offers education on nutrition and breastfeeding, distributes checks for healthy foods, and offers referrals for other community services. No appointments are required, and the service is available to those who meet the WIC income limits and live in Kern and Fresno counties. If you are a woman who is pregnant, breastfeeding, or recently had a baby, have an infant under 12 months old, have children up to 5 years old, or are a single father/mother, you may qualify for WIC.
