About this Resource
In normal times, WVCFP is classified as an emergency food pantry which means we provide families and individuals facing emergency situations with a three-day supply of healthy food.**
Boxes or bags of food are filled based upon the number of people in the household. A basic box contains cereal, a minimum of three types of proteins, pastas, tomato sauce, soups, vegetables, crackers, sugar, bar soap and toilet paper. When available, we add a variety of other foods such as: breads, fresh produce, pastries, flour rice, beans, milk, eggs and other dairy products. Often, we have baby food and formula, diapers, adult incontinence briefs, some sugar-free foods for diabetics, some basic toiletries, and dog and cat food.
