Description

Consisting of 300+ members, Frisco VFW provides unique and urgently needed services that improve the lives of veterans, military personnel & their families all the while supporting positive citizen involvement for the betterment of our community. Our varied programs include, but not limited to, financial grants for military families in need to help pay for rent, mortgage, utilities, medical treatment and food; assistance for veterans in the filing of entitlement claims with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; patriotic student essay contests that award scholarships to our youth; and patriotic contests that award exceptional teachers for their commitment to teaching Americanism and patriotism to their students.
