The Veteran Service Dog Training program is operated by Big Dog Ranch Rescue, the largest no-kill shelter in the United States. At Big Dog Ranch Rescue, the heart of our mission lies in the belief that every veteran deserves a chance to thrive, and every rescue dog deserves a second chance at life. Through the connection of the human-animal bond, lives are changed, futures are reshaped, and the journey towards healing begins. This partnership helps our veterans navigate life with PTSD and disabilities, and give our rescue dogs a fresh start.
