University Health Services (UHS) provides comprehensive medical, mental health, insurance and health promotion services to all UC Berkeley students, and a variety of health programs for faculty and staff.

All registered UC Berkeley students may use UHS, regardless of insurance. For the majority of students enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), care is coordinated seamlessly at UHS.

Our outstanding staff includes board-certified physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, physical therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, lab/radiology/pharmacy technicians, social workers, licensed psychologists and psychiatrists, health educators and insurance specialists.
