The Salvation Army of Rapid City offers a number of social services and material assistance programs, including a food pantry, assistance with utility bills and rent payments, back-to-school supplies, youth programs (including music and summer camp at The Salvation Army Black Hills Camp), Christian education and spiritual care. The Salvation Army's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all people in His name without discrimination.
