About this Resource
The Fresh Start program at The Salvation Army in Waco is a pre-release program for men and women who are slated to return to our community after federal prison. It is a combination of live-in and home monitoring of prisoners. The program is funded by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and the staff and program is focused on providing life skills, case management, tracking, securing employment and pre-release reintegration to help former inmates as they rebuild their lives as positive and productive community members.
