The Players at Barker Playhouse
About this Resource
The Players is a theatre company producing live amateur shows at The Barker Playhouse. The group was formed in 1909 and moved to the playhouse in 1932. We are the oldest continuously operating little theatre in the United States.
We now produce five shows per year, hold readings of classical plays, offer acting classes, and provide other activities for the community of people interested in live theatre.
We are a membership club, but we do sell tickets to the public.
