The Jesse Tree was founded in 1995, in Galveston Texas. The primary purpose was to adapt internet technology to create an over arching system that integrates healthcare, social services, ministerial and community assistance under an electronic blanket making it easier to create common sense solutions to problems. And we all have problems at one time or another. Our original location on Market Street in Galveston was destroyed in Hurricane Ike in 2008, so we concentrated our efforts in our Texas City location behind Mainland Hospital. COVID has taken a major toll on us, depleting our inventory of durable medical equipment and medical supplies; adapting our deliveries and quarantining donations to control the spread of the virus.
