The American Legion Post 94, in Flatonia, Texas was established on April 18, 1919 by a group of local veterans who had served in World War One. The original charter of the post was signed by local veterans and was sponsored by the Texas Department of The American Legion. Post 94 is a 501 (c), non profit organization operating under the National American Legion. The membership is composed of veterans from Flatonia and the surrounding areas. Today, Post 94 is still very active and continues to serve the Flatonia community and surrounding areas.
