St. Charles Memorial Post 5036 VFW, Inc. is a proud chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, an esteemed nonprofit Veterans service organization. Our post was formed after the end of World War II, on December 20, 1945. This significant timing holds a deep meaning, as it emerged from the desire to support those who had fought in the Greatest War, a conflict that demanded tremendous sacrifices. The formation of our VFW Post was a testament to the unwavering commitment of those who had given so much, and it allowed these Veterans to continue their service to their country, this time in the place they called home.
