Southside Community Farm
About this Resource
A community farm of the historically Black Southside neighborhood. Our passion is building neighborhood food sovereignty through food distribution, environmental education, racial justice, and connection with the land. The farm includes community meeting space, raised garden beds, farm production rows, and orchard space.
Southside Community Farm provides free, fresh food in an outdoor refrigerator on the farm (behind the Arthur R. Edington Center, 133 Livingston St.) and at our free little pantry at 214 Livingston St. We host a monthly farmers market of all Black and Brown vendors on the 1st Sunday of every month, May-October. Farmers markets are EBT accessible and open to the public.
