About this Resource
As a mission of the Heart of Peoria Catholic Community, Sophia’s Kitchen believes in providing nourishment to those most in need through food for the day, support for their health needs and spiritual guidance for their everlasting souls.
We provide a generous, free lunch to anyone who comes, as well as a pet pantry on Thursday afternoon from 1 to 3 PM and a food pantry on Friday from 1 to 3 PM. We are closed on holidays, but encourage people to visit our Little Free Pantry that hangs on the outside of the building and share non perishable foods with those in need.
