About this Resource
Our Volunteer Caregiving program provides non-medical caregiving services to seniors age 60 and over and adults living with mild disabilities. We recruit, screen, train, and match volunteers with individuals in need of support.
Shepherd’s Hand Volunteer Caregiving provides companionship, respect and assistance for our neighbors to preserve their independence & connect to community, while maintaining their dignity and quality of life through:
friendly visiting
light housekeeping & minor home repairs
transportation for essential needs (grocery store, bank, pharmacy, healthcare appointments)
organizing mail & help with correspondence
respite for primary caregivers
