Shasta Cascade Health Centers is a community focused healthcare organization proudly serving the mountain towns of Mount Shasta, McCloud and Dunsmuir. Incorporated in 1999 and serving its first patients in 2000, SCHC began its existence as McCloud Healthcare Clinic in McCloud, California. MHC was founded by Mary ‘Bunny’ Hearst, the great granddaughter of iconic businessman, William Randolph Hearst. Bunny’s vision was to provide affordable, accessible and quality healthcare to the residents of McCloud, who at the time had no access to basic medical care. Today, Shasta Cascade’s mission continues to be serving the people of our local communities with quality healthcare services in a manner that is always friendly, compassionate and caring.
