The Santa Ynez Valley Community Outreach, previously known as Buellton Senior Center, promotes the common good and general welfare of seniors, veterans, and at-risk communities in the Santa Ynez Valley by providing nutritional, recreational, and transportation resources.

In addition to operating the local Meals on Wheels program that serves residents in the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos; Santa Ynez Community Outreach has also been named by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as a Veterans Distribution Food Service Center. Free groceries and produce are available at Buellton Senior Center, 56 West Highway 246 in Buellton, Monday-Friday for community members in need.
