Known as "The Friendliest Post in Texas", Greater American Legion Post 516 is centrally located between Fort Worth and Arlington TX in the neighborhood of Woodhaven and Sandy Brook. Open to the public for breakfast and lunch daily 7am to 2pm, and a fully stocked canteen for American Legion members. We provide comfort and support for all veterans and their families, as well as patriotic programs for all youth through the annual high school Oratorical contest, Texas Boys State, scouting and such. For the veterans, we provide a safe place with assistance in setting up VA claims, provide a place of comradery, and a sense of belonging. Stop in and say hi, enjoy a meal.
