Opportunity House provides emergency shelter for men, women, children, families, and Veterans in Reading, PA and Berks County, PA. If you need a homeless shelter near you, please call us at 610-374-4696 ext 236. Our goal is to help you on your journey from homelessness to safe, secure, and stable housing. For those experiencing homelessness, we offer a place to sleep, shower, 3 meals, and laundry access. We provide support services including life skills, job skills, access to mental health and drug treatment programs, and other services you need to become successfully housed in the community. We are a not-for-profit homeless charity that helps approximately 500 people each year who experience homelessness in Reading/Berks County, PA.
