The mission of Oakwood Community Center is to bring neighbors together and build bridges among grassroots organizations in the city of Troy, New York. We do this by maintaining the historic Oakwood building as a welcoming and nourishing space.

Oakwood prides itself on making space available for you to use. Some examples of who might use this space include:
Community members looking for an affordable place to host a birthday party/baby shower/repast or even a wedding in our Sanctuary space
Neighborhood/community groups who need a place to meet
Organizations interested in offering a service to the local community
A motivated individual who wants to get a program up and running and needs some organizational support and space!
