About this Resource

New York Indian Council is a Title V Indian Health Services contracted Urban Indian Health Program serving American Indian/Alaska Natives who are enrolled or descendants in the first or second degree of a federal or state recognized tribe.
We welcome the native community throughout the New York City area; Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island.

The mission of the New York Indian Council (NYIC) is to promote the well-being of AI/AN people by providing health services that are in tune with our history, traditions, and philosophies. We are natives serving natives.
