The Nashville Adult Literacy Council’s mission is to help Nashville adults with the reading, writing, and English-speaking skills they need for the life they want. Learners at NALC reach their goals through literacy. NALC offers free English classes and one-on-one tutoring for learners ages 18+. Want to help teach reading, writing, and English-speaking skills? We have several volunteer opportunities and are always accepting donations to help support our learners. Our physical offices are not currently open. Please call or email us for assistance.
