Monkey Brain Art teaches Veterans and First Responders Warriors Art Therapy, Meditation, Mindfulness to help them manage their PTSD. The program is an 8 week course use to provide after care support to Warriors who have completed treatment for PTSD. We are a nonprofit, and raise funds to cover 100% of the cost so the clients can participate for free and take their art supplies with them after graduation.
The course is a 90 day art, meditation, and mindfulness class used to introduce different art styles, processes, and mediums while experiencing an introduction to meditation and mindfulness. It will have basic entry level art projects to aid the warrior in exploring art and the healing power of creating something positive.
