Military Order of the Purple Heart 423

Military Order of the Purple Heart 423

Description

Colorado's largest chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) and MOPH Auxiliary, serving all of Southern Colorado. The MOPH mission is to foster camaraderie among combat wounded veterans, assist veterans and their families in need, and to preserve the heritage of the Purple Heart medal (America's oldest military medal, dating back to 07 August 1782, when General George Washington created the Badge of Military Merit). MOPH membership is open to Purple Heart recipients of all eras. Family members of Purple Heart recipients, including spouses, children, and grandchildren, are welcome to join the MOPH Auxiliary. We meet the second Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m., followed by a free luncheon. Please join our great group!
