The Michigan DMVA resides in the State of Michigan's Executive Branch. The Department Director sits on the Governor's Cabinet and serves as The Adjutant General. The DMVA consists of State Operations, Michigan Veteran Homes, The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, the Michigan Air National Guard and the Michigan Army National Guard.
