Heroes Homestead

Description

Heroes Homestead fortifies families of the veteran community through programs and life-on-life mentoring that helps the family understanding the adjustment process of their veteran from service to civilian living. We focus on the immediate household of the veteran and who they identify as family or support systems. Through cultural adjustment theory and using interpersonal skill building strategies, Heroes helps build compassion and understanding into the family unit to better support the veteran in their transition home.
