Founded in 1971, HealthFirst Family Care is a federally funded nonprofit community health center that provides quality, affordable medical and dental care to all residents of greater Fall River, regardless of their ability to pay. Services include: • Adult medicine • Pediatric medicine • Adult and pediatric dental care • Care management of chronic diseases • Integrated Substance Use Recovery Program • Nutrition counseling • Medical interpreter services • Patient benefits • Specialty referrals • Fall River WIC Program • Laboratory services HealthFirst’s facility includes a Southcoast Health Laboratory, a pharmacy, and multilingual interpreters. It is the only place in Fall River where families can receive WIC benefits.
