My name is Desmond Guscot. I have over 18 years of experience working as a professional counselor/therapist. I'm licensed in the State of Texas (LPC) and I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). No single modality or treatment can explain the complexity of the human experience, and so my counseling style is integrative, which means that I incorporate in my treatment approach interventions from a wide range of treatment modalities in counseling my clients. Still, my essential counseling style is defined by a combination of client- centered therapy coupled with a holistic approach based on empathy, authenticity, and respect for my clients. Note as impressive as this is it doesn't capture the care I bring in counseling clients.
