The Greene County Food Pantry was founded in 2007, as a 501c3, non profit, tax deductible organization. We serve all that qualify for assistance, and are especially partial to senior citizens. Over 30% of our clients are seniors living below the poverty level.

Our mission is to assist those in the community by providing a nutritionally sound assortment of canned goods, box dinners, rice, beans, pasta, cereal, fruit, meat, bread, etc in quantities large enough to provide for a few meals every month.

In previous years, The Greene County Food Pantry has served over 5,500 families — nearly 15,000 individuals — with each family receiving more than 30 pounds of food per month.
