The Gorman Foundation is a family foundation created in 2003 that supports IRS 501(c)(3)-designated nonprofit organizations in Madison County through competitive grantmaking. In addition, the Foundation created and manages the Mary Rose Clinic, a free clinic for the uninsured and underinsured and owns and operates the Gorman Foundation Community Center which is home to over 7 nonprofit organizations plus has a community room and board room available to all nonprofit organizations. In 2015, the Foundation also acquired the Gorman Northside Plaza which is a 7-acre strip mall in downtown Oneida, NY. The plaza houses 4 additional nonprofit organizations, the Gorman Foundation Community Center, and 5 for-profit businesses.
