About this Resource

Friendship Place is a 501 (c) nonprofit whose goal is to end or prevent homelessness in the Washington DC metro region. The organization's mission is to empower people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to attain stable housing and rebuild their lives.
Each year, Friendship Place ends or prevents homelessness for more than 1,300 people and provides job placement, medical and psychiatric care, food assistant, and much more to more than 5,000 people.
