The Friends of the Salt Lake County Children's Justice Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting the needs of the CJC in Salt Lake County. The CJC is an accredited and award winning program with two locations to serve child victims of abuse and family members. The Friends exists as a private/public charity fundraising entity, whose mission is to turn trauma into resilience for child abuse victim. We provide crisis and comfort care items, a safe space for small voices to share their story and help the children and families feel safe and heard.

Friends also launched THRIVELab, a community partnership pathway offering opportunities for alternative therapies such as pet, music, equine, dance and art.
