Since 2012, WestCare Iowa has provided services for Veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness and are living within the 43 counties that comprise Northern Iowa. All services are provided by way of its Family Alliance for Veterans of America (FAVA) program, made possible by grant funding from Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) through the Department of Veteran Affairs grant and the Continuum of Care (CoC) grant through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
