About this Resource
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization. Focusing on service to veterans, servicemembers and communities, the Legion evolved from a group of war-weary veterans of World War I into one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States.
The Don Hammack American Legion Post 123 is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and serves the West Alabama Community. We are a group of Legionaires, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and the Tuscaloosa County Honor Guard who meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month, dinner is held @ 5:30 p.m,. upon availability by the Auxiliary, with meeting at 6pm.
The post is located inside Crosspointe Tuscaloosa on University Blvd East.
