The Disabled American Veterans, Department of Minnesota (DAV MN) is a Congressionally chartered Veteran Service Organization. The DAV MN was chartered in 1925 and has about 19,000 members in Minnesota, all of which sustained wounds or injuries during military service. Our primary HQ office is located at the State Veteran Service Building in St Paul.
Our office in Columbia Heights is the dispatch office for our residential curbside pickup service for donations of gently used clothing, textiles, shoes, accessories and some small household items. The DAV MN receives a majority of our operational revenue from the collection and wholesale of second-hand items.
