Center for Community Health & Prevention
About this Resource
The Center for Community Health & Prevention of the University of Rochester Medical Center encompasses a wide variety of programs and initiatives aimed at preventing disease to create a healthier community. Experts on our clinical team work with patients to manage stress and cholesterol, stop smoking/vaping, improve nutrition and physical activity and more. We also offer community-based programs across the region that address a variety of health topics.
Our mission is to join forces with the community to promote health equity; improve health through research, education, services, and policy; and establish local and national models for prevention and community engagement.
