Caritas was established in 1992 as an nonprofit food pantry. We offer our clients in need food, hygiene items, utility assistance, bus passes, fuel vouchers. Last client sign in is typically at 1p. But if we reach client capacity before 1pm, Caritas has to close early to insure we have food for those who are already in line. We covenant to serve clients without prejudice or discrimination, and to preserve their dignity!
Clients are invited to self-select their free groceries during our open hours, two times a month. Low barrier access and no appointment required. During the winter months we will follow the Spokane School District closures when it is deemed a "snow day".
