Matthews HELP Center is a non profit organization providing short-term crisis assistance to our neighbors in the Greater Matthews Community. We provide financial assistance with rent, utilities, food, child care and non-financial assistance with food, clothing and household items for residents living in a 6-zip code area. Social work services are available by applying online through our website. Social Service Lobby Hours (Thurs. 10am-12pm food pickup). Phone appointments M-F. Backporch Treasures Thrift Boutique is open to the public Monday - Saturday from 10am to 5pm and community donations are accepted from 9am to 2pm M-Sat.
