First Circuit CASA
About this Resource
First Circuit Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program started in 2001 to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers dedicated to advocating for the needs of abused and neglected children currently in court proceedings. We provide court-appointed child advocates in Aurora, Brule, Buffalo, Charles Mix, Davison, Douglas, Hanson, Hutchinson, & McCook counties. Our mission is to combat child neglect and abuse by providing a safe, permanent, nurturing home with the help of a trained court-appointed special advocate to make sure they don’t get lost in the overburdened legal & social service system. Call us if you are interested in becoming a CASA volunteer or visit our site for ways to donate to our South Dakota non-profit organization.
